(Saturday of the 4th Week of Easter. 9th May, 2020) “Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; if you ask anything in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:13-14)

Friday 8th May 2020. Read Acts 13:26-33, Psalm 2 and John 14:1-6. “Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me… I am the way, and the truth, and the life” (John 14:1-6).

Pride is one temptation that remains forever rife among ministers of God. It is a temptation to make people believe we are closer to God and so, therefore, higher, more important, more sophisticated, more intelligent, wiser than other human beings.
